Mon Cheri
aka "The Princess"

Karmen and Cheri showing PSG in
July.
This fabulous 1992 Danish Warmblood recently arrived at Stoney Wood Friesians to become the dressage partner for resident trainer, Karmen Mills. Cheri arrived from Wellington Florida where she spent the last 6 years successfully showing in dressage at the FEI levels and specifically showing Grand Prix in 2009.
Cheri is much more than just a pretty face - she is an excellent athlete, a talented schoolmaster and has the most delightful personality. She will do a cartwheel for an apple! This girl has it all - thus her new nickname - THE PRINCESS! (And the eight bags of shavings in her stall are there to prove it!)
Karmen is now attending monthly dressage clinics with USDF "S" Judge Mike Osinski. With Mike's help, Karmen has really learned to polish her riding skills and get the very best from Cheri. Watch out for this incredible pair during the 2010 show season! We'll all be in the stands cheering for Karmen and Cheri!
UPDATE: Karmen just got her second qualifying core at fourth level. She will now begin polishing her PSG test so she can head toward her silver medal! Good luck Karmen and Cheri!
