Powerful, handsome, and incredibly uphill, I have chosen this gorgeous IALHA-registered Andalusian cross gelding for my new dressage partner.
Grady stands 16+ hands tall, and is ten years old. He won in-hand classes for best movement at IALHA regional shows in 2004 and 2005. In 2005 he was grand champion half Andalusian in hand. In 2006 he made his debut in English pleasure and placed well.
Although Grady has never competed in dressage before, I am confident he has the conformation, sensitivity and forward movement necessary to be a success! Grady arrived from Wyoming in August, and has been out climbing the trails at Folsom Lake. He's going to be a great trail horse too! He went to Euer Valley in September and got to play in the snow (nothing new for him being from Wyoming!)
Grady has some awfully big shoes to fill in my life since I lost Diosa and sold Mentor. But I think Grady is just the horse to do it! My friends are teasing me about the "new man in my life"! My dear friend Courtney Guild is re-introducing Grady to the world of dressage. Meanwhile I am help get him into condition on the trails at Folsom lake. He really has the best of all worlds - with plenty of attention from two ladies!
