Shadow

Shadow is an Arabian gelding approximately 15 years old, standing 14 hands and is freckled grey.  He is kid-tested and child-approved to be lots of fun for Tearyn and Tomlinn!   He is very well trained for both the arena and trails.  He is best friends with my Andalusian mare, Diosa and lets her boss him around. (This is great for Diosa's confidence)  They are the cutest thing together.

Shadow is quite a confidence builder as Tearyn was steering on her own and was trotting on her second day riding.  Shadow likes to GO! but he is also willing to stop (which is the more critical of the two skills!)  This summer, Tearyn had her first trail ride with Shadow.  Laura and Kelsey rode in front while Dad and Bessie followed behind.  Shadow also went camping in Euer Valley and rode the trails with Tearyn.  He even jumped over a ditch with her.  Although a little nervous about water, he was a perfect gentleman! 

With the girls back in school and enrolled in both dance and soccer, there has been little time for Shadow.  So, Shadow is currently leased to Jessica in Orangevale where he is living in luxury and having fun with his new little girl.
